You will not miss out on any of the many striking monuments and sights as you are guided through Piazza San Marco, viewing the Basilica, the Ducal Palace and the Prisons.
With so many amazing sights, Venice’s architectural and cultural heritage is best appreciated during a guided tour where all the research has been done for you! Pause to take in the extravagant buildings which frame the Piazza San Marco. There are so many wondrous sights to take in that your eyes will not know where to look first! Competing for your attention are the towering Campanile of the Church of St Mark and the glittering Italo-Byzantine architecture of the Basilica.

Lose track of your senses and give in to the beauty of Venice on a romantic "promenade" by gondola!
- Glide past Venice´s stunning architecture
- Get lost in the moment with live music
- Discover the beauty of Venice in a romantic atmosphere
One cannot simply visit the Queen of the Adriatic and not enjoy a ride on the long black gondolas that glide through the city’s many labyrinthine canals; and what better way to do it than with live music on board, so as to further enhance the overall artistic essence of this wonderful city.
Book your Gondola Serenade Group Tour and take pleasure in a delightful soothing journey along the quiet canals; by far the best way to soak up the atmosphere of the city. With the elegant ride, the music and the magnificent architecture, some might be tempted to lie prone, enraptured with Stendhal’s Syndrome due to the overwhelming beauty of it all.
As you softly glide along the dark waters of the canals, you will soon come to realise why Venice was destined to become a large seaside power during the Mediaeval Ages, paving the way for the splendorous Renaissance age that then bloomed throughout the many Italian cities during the fourteenth and fifteenth century. The legacy of these wonderful times for science and art is obvious on the facades of the many incredible buildings you’ll glide by.
At the end of this unforgettable dream tour, you will have the option to enjoy a dinner at the Al Giglio restaurant, a stone’s throw away from the majestic Santa María del Giglio Church. If you have chosen the option that includes dinner, savour a delicious 3-course meal which includes a soft drink and coffee (wine not included).

One of the most beautiful locations in Venice is the Venetian Lagoon. On this lagoon, three stunning islands can be found, each containing a unique characteristic or feature that endears it to the arts, making them precious to the art-loving locals. With the company of a very informative local guide, you'll first head to Murano Island, which is known throughout the country for glass blowing and crafting. You'll get the chance to enter one of their glass factories and see masters hard at work in creating unique glass crafts and art. Then you will journey to Torcello Island, which holds the Byzantine Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and the Church of Santa Fosca. Both these churches have a rich history. This is also the island that has endeared itself to Ernest Hemmingway, as it is where he wrote his novel “Across the River and Into the Trees”. Then, you'll head into Burano Island and see its lovely colorful houses. As you take a stroll through the streets, you'll catch sight of the local ladies knitting intricate lacework.
