Dubai

United Arab Emirates:

Home to the Burj al-Arab and Burj Khalifa, which epitomize the opulence that is synonymous with the United Arab Emirates. The UAE is made up of five emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah.

In Dubai, you can dine in a restaurant as sea wildlife swims around you, and enjoy interactions with dolphins and thrilling water rides. From a luxurious seven-star hotel like the Atlantis Hotel, go for a desert safari and bounce around real desert dunes in four-wheel drives. The cosmopolitan city of Dubai is all lights and glamour and also features traditional Bedouin culture.

But if you want the authentic Bedouin culture, visit other emirates like Ras Al Khaimah and the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Ras Al Khaimah is also the home of the world’s longest zipline, which is certified by the Guinness World Records. In fact, the Gulf Cooperation Council named Ras Al Khaimah the Gulf Tourism Capital in 2021 and 2020.

Sharjah is the emirate with the most historical sites, so if you want to know more about the United Arab Emirates, this is the emirate to visit. You can see historical sites like the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, the Al Mahatta Museum, the Khorfakkan amphitheater, fossil rock, and the Al Noor mosque. Ajman also has several cultural attractions like the Ajman Museum, Al Zorah natural reserve, dhow yard, Al Murabba Watchtower, UAQ fort and museum, and Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

The United Arab Emirates is where Arab tradition and modernity intertwine and make beautiful art. It is a beautiful mesh of old and new architecture.
